How To Change Headlight Bulb On A Skoda Yeti | Includes Video

This is a step by step guide to replacing a the daylight and low beam light bulbs on the Skoda Yeti. For more information on this consider downloading the official repair manual below.


Note :

  • Do not touch the glass when installing the light bulb. Your fingers will leave traces of grease on the glass which then evaporate when the bulb is switched on causing it to cloud.
  • When installing the cover, pay attention to the correct fitting.
  • Water ingress will destroy the headlight.

Replacing bulb for daylight driving light

  1. Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
  2. Remove rubber cap -3-
  3. Turn socket with bulb -1- and remove from the headlight housing -arrow-.
  4. Disconnect plug.
  5. Replace defective light bulb.

Replacing H7LL bulb for low beam light

Warning : The H7LL bulb is pressurized and can burst when changing it. It is recommended to wear gloves and safety glasses when changing bulbs.

  1. Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
  2. Turn the cover -1- towards the left and remove.
  3. Release and remove the bulb -2- from the catches by pendular movement and pulling force -arrows-.
  4. Disconnect plug.
  5. Press new lamp -2- into the assembly opening until the catches -arrows- are locked.
  6. Mount plug -1-.

Note :

  • Check seal for damage and observe correct installation position of caps.
