1. Extract the fuel in the fuel tank through the fuel tank cap with a pump.
2. Remove:
β’ Rider seat
β’ Fuel tank side cover
β’ Fuel tank center cover
β’ Bracket bolt
3. Disconnect:
β’ Fuel hose (fuel tank side) β1β
β’ Fuel pump coupler β2β
β’ Fuel tank breather hose β3β
β’ Fuel tank drain hose β4β
4. Remove:
β’ Fuel tank

Warning : Cover fuel hose connections with a cloth when disconnecting them. Residual pressure in the fuel lines could cause fuel to spurt out when removing the hose.
Note : Be sure to disconnect the fuel hose by hand. Do not forcefully disconnect the hose with tools.
TIPS
β’ While pushing the ends βaβ of the fuel hose connector cover β1β in direction βbβ, slide the fuel hose connector cover in direction βcβ, and then remove the hose from the fuel pump.
β’ Before removing the hose, place a few rags in the area under where it will be removed.
β’ It is prohibited to wear the cotton work gloves or equivalent coverings.

- Do not set the fuel tank down so that the installation surface of the fuel pump is directly under the tank. Be sure to lean the fuel tank in an upright position.
