Is your Mitsubishi Colt gearbox stiff?
Many new owners of the Mitsubishi find there gearboxes very stiff, this problem could be down to several things. If you are new owner you are probably not used to the Mitsubishi stiff feel, but if you are used to the Mitsubishi’s stiffness or the problem has recently become worse, maybe check some of the following. 1) Stiffness can come from lack of lubrication, so checking the gearbox oil should be the first stop. 2) If there is any kind of grinding while changing gears, this could be a sign of gear wear, this may need special attention, our advice would be to take it to your nearest garage or Mitsubishi dealer.

3. Socket 8mm
4. Jack or ramps
6. If nuts too tight maybe some WD40
9. Protection for hands and eyes.
