Having a 2008 gsxr 750 and having ridden that for my first bike I would have to choose the MV as my next bike. My reason’s have more to do with comfort and living daily with a bike i would like to get out of the racer position for riding through town every day not that I ride my gixxer everyday. Also I am vertically challenged at about 5’4″ so seat height comes in to question with every motorcycle purchase.

Last time I sat on a Brutale I got a charley horse, I’m tallish (6’4″) and the ergos seemed focussed on someone sub 6′ tall. Like both bikes but too boutique to be daily drivers IMO or promoted as such unless you are well coined.
Not a negative, just an opinion. Great bikes in their own right and bikes that I would love to have in my personal stable one day all the same.

Personally the Brutale just doesn’t do it for me in the looks category while the Streetfighter is something to drool over. No second guessing which I’d go for. Performance wise – it’s mostly down to the rider anyway, so choose the one you think looks best.
@WisdomVendor good question. well: their motoGP10 does… so i GUESS: yes
Cool,, my personal opinion is that is one of their trophy designs that should never be discarded.
In no otherway has any valvetrain system shown as much performance with such a basic idea.
as far as 1090 yes they do! other bikes i really dont know.
Does Ducati still use the desmodromic valve system?
