Me riding a Ducati Hypermotard 796
On the first spring day of 2010, March 19, I rented a Ducati Hypermotard 796. I loved the bike. It was very light weight and maneuverable. Still it got plenty of power. It’s a great bike for driving in the city or the country side. Just not so perfect for travelling large distances or at high speed. No wind protection and a small gas tank. I would certainly recommend this bike.

You have the same disease I have of always pressing the indicator-off button after clutching or rinding a bend
Actually the Hym turns it off by itself after a kilometer or so.
I’m glad, I bought this bike 3 weeks ago. No comparison in acceleration to my XT600, which is a great bike nevertheless. Just different worlds..

@chrisxrc87 mostly they lock your bike speed at 200 kmph but if you unlock the box it would go more than 250 or 270 max if you have ball going that fast lol
i got mine today…. (newbie rider, but fortunately the bike always had me on it while moving, which is good.) It’s sweet….it’s like my old Honda XR250, except 5x as powerful, 28x as cool, and 2.5x as expensive.
Now to save up for a better exhaust and lose the cat…low rpm fueling is rough, really makes you work on clutch/throttle finesse…
i’m about to buy one of these tomorrow, if I don’t panic and bail first! (But I already bought all the gear and told everybody….no turning back now baby!)
@ryandozier7
nooo…white is the way to wheelie
where is this place?
very nice ride
0-100 ???
@chrisxrc87 Theres no wind protection so you could probally only do around 100
heyy weet je ongeveer hoeveel km je op 1 volle tank kan rijden met dit ding?
this one or suzuki gladius? there is big difference in price… does this difference in price follows diference in quality / performance? . Im looking something to easy city ride… tnx in advance
I test drove one today: I liked it. Comfortable, Well mannered, handling superb. Flat black is the way to go. I’m either going to replace my Daytona 600 streetfighter with this bike or the speed triple or perhaps the Bonnie SE(love the Mag wheels, EFI and Megaphone exhaust). Shinny side up!!! HOOAH!
@c3dr1cb just my two cents. but if its going to be your first bike, you might want to learn on a less expensive bike. chances are you will go down or drop the bike at least once if you are inexperienced. have fun riding!
Jesus christ, Please no music nextime…
@djkaseone approx 50mpg
@chrisxrc87 Approx 125mph
How much fuel does it hold? Whats the MPG?
@LuukieSurf Yes the nicest thing about this engine compared to the 696 is where the torque kicks in…torque peaks about 1500 revs sooner.
@Boggle122333 Yes it’s air cooled with an oil cooler in front of the engine.
my dream!
this thing is air cooled?
just wondering????and for long trips !!!!
can you tell me please ?
@chrisxrc87 You don’t buy this bike for the max speed. You’d better buy a supersport if your looking for top end. But where are you going to use it?
@LuukieSurf and what video editing program u use?
what is the max speed please ???
