  1. @snabbeltax Yeah, I was surprised to hear that on the video heheh. Only Ducati to be more expensive than the BMW. Any of the two are way overpriced in my opinion so, between too expensive and even more expensive, is the same to me heheh. An adventure bike is something one isn’t supposed to be worried about scratching the paint of I think ;)

New Multistrada 1200 is even more expensive, incl.panniers.

    I’ll get one in 2 weeks! :-)

  4. I sure wish the Ducati had a bit bigger ergonomics! I am 6″4″ with a 34″ inseam. I test drove the Multistrada last week – what a complete riot to ride! However, it is just a little cramped for someone my size… You’d think if Ducati wanted to compete directly with the R1200GS they would have considered this a bit more…

  5. Good job!

  6. Thanks! A very fair review. It was good to see it compared off road. An earlier review skipped the off road riding. I knew the wheel size was going to be a problem. 17 inch is too small for some rougher dirt roads.

The weak point on most videos here in youtube land and from you as well is sound. Here you’ve done a much better job than most of your other videos.

yeah right. how many ppl do you know practice riding enough to be superb on the machines they own? Then ask those ppl how many ppl they know that do the same? Then find out if they have full-time jobs or are retired old ppl with time on their hands. This isn’t 20 years ago, ppl don’t care about skills, they just want to go hard. That’s why the GS sells like it does, cause it’s mythically bulletproof; you don’t need skills to crash it IF it goes off road.

  8. Graet Video, Great Ducati Bike But Too expensive

  9. Fantastic quality video MCN, the use of the cameras, sound and music were all top notch in my opinion. Michael Neaves and Michael Guy are the best two testers on youtube. Period. Please keep up the informative and fun to watch videos!

  10. lol the “BM” bowel movement?????

  11. MCN you have great videos, you just need to put it on 720p or even 1080p, definitely!

  12. I wish I could have gone for the R1200GS but those bikes are so expensive…

  13. Its almost like MCN read our comments down here and improved on their videos. Everyone complained of too much time with fly by shots of the bikes, and now they are gone! Its just pure information now. More than camera angles and the cosmetics, there is so much more information, I’m just loving it!

  14. Great bikes but for my tastes….VSTROM

  15. Nice video MCN, keep up the good work.
    ciao from Italy

  16. Long story short, in the world of Adventure Touring, the BMW is still king.

  17. very good review!

  18. This is the best video done by MCN so far, compliments!

  19. @morpheus1976 just buy the SMT ;-)

  20. They always have new gear on!!
New shit any bike….my high school guidance counselor fucking lied to me

  21. 150MPH!! that’s insane on a bike like that!!
