Test details:

The Mitsubishi Galant was redesigned for the 2004 model year.

Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. During rebound, the dummy’s head hit the B-pillar.

Injury measures — Measures taken from the head, neck, chest, and left leg indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. Forces on the right tibia indicate that injuries to the lower leg would be possible. The dummy’s right knee contacted a metal reinforcement under the steering column, which gashed the vinyl ‘skin.’ Head acceleration from the B-pillar hit was low.

Stock Mitsubishi 380 dyno ramp

Mitsubishi 380, 3.8L 6G75 on a Mainline chassis dyno.
Motor is very fresh with only 20,000 km on the clock.
Stock as a rock, made 122 fwkw (ie not very much)
Induction noise is due to the airfilter and airbox being removed.
Car actually richened up and made less power without the airbox and filter due to the enrichment map of the ECU.
